SUMMARY:World Introvert Day
DESCRIPTION:Recharge through some alone time and self-care\, learn about the psychology of introversion or show appreciation for your inward-focused friends. \n\n\n\nFor those who have ever wondered what it is like being an introvert\, or those who know one and want to celebrate them\, this is the day! \n\n\n\nOr perhaps this is the day for people who are introverts themselves and struggle for people to understand them at all. Well\, there is a full day dedicated to introversion: it’s World Introvert Day! \n\n\n\nIn a world where extroversion is the dominant force that plays in the spotlight\, (with 60% or more of the population claiming the label of ‘extrovert’) introversion takes place behind the scenes. \n\n\n\nAs a result\, being an introvert doesn’t mean that people can’t function in society\, it just has to do with how the person is able to recharge their batteries. \n\n\n\nWorld Introvert Day is dedicated to honoring the people who keep the world going around a little differently! \n\n\n\nHow to Celebrate World Introvert Day\n\n\n\nSo\, how should a person go about celebrating being an introvert? Well\, there are a variety of ways\, of course\, and some of them might even include throwing a party! \n\n\n\nTry out some of these thoughts for celebrating World Introvert Day: \n\n\n\nEnjoy a Day of Resting Up\n\n\n\nAfter several weeks of parties and holiday celebrations\, this would be the perfect day for an introvert to spend some time alone. \n\n\n\nGet comfy at home\, curl up on the sofa\, and read a book! Do some self-care routines like taking a hot bath or enjoying some spa treatments. \n\n\n\nOr spend some time hanging out with pets\, as animals don’t often require much in the way of conversation. \n\n\n\nGive an Introverted Friend a Break\n\n\n\nThis is a great day for those extraverted people to try to be respectful of introverts. One study performed in the UK showed that 9 out of 10 people in the workplace felt pressure to behave in an extraverted manner) \n\n\n\nSo for those who are not an introvert but do know one\, take this day as an opportunity to be a better friend\, family member or coworker. Release some of that pressure and let the introverts simply be themselves! \n\n\n\nLearn About Introverts\n\n\n\nA great many misconceptions abound regarding introverts! Here are some interesting things about introverts that would be ideal to consider and share on World Introvert Day: \n\n\n\n\nIntroverts aren’t shy. Many people think introverts are shy or have social anxiety but that’s simply not true. Instead\, it’s all about how they recharge. Extraverts recharge by being with other people\, and introverts need more alone time to get their juices flowing again.\n\n\n\nIntroverts can be very confident. Simply because they need to fill up their tanks alone doesn’t mean introverts don’t work with confidence and strength in everyday life. In fact\, many famous artists\, politicians\, scientists and other great thinkers are known to be introverts.\n\n\n\nIntroverts like to socialize\, just like everyone else. Some of them enjoy people very much but they get tired after having too much ‘people-time’. Some introverts love diving deep into one-on-one conversations but prefer to avoid big crowds. However\, some introverts are excellent public speakers and make great social butterflies\, they just need to monitor their internal resources more carefully.\n\n\n\nIntroverts use the parasympathetic side of their nervous system more. This is simply the side of the nervous system that activates rest\, subdued relaxation\, downtime or contemplation. The other side\, the sympathetic side\, is the part required for full throttle movement and engagement with others.\n\n\n\n\nDo Some Research on Introverts\n\n\n\nFor those who are interested in getting to know more about introverts\,while being able to recharge on their own\, this would be a great day to do some research! \n\n\n\nTake the time to look up famous introverts online. Follow some good blog websites that talk about introverts. \n\n\n\nOr grab some books from the library and learn more about the psychology of introversion. Take this time to recharge\, even for those who are not introverts themselves. Most people are probably going to need it after the New Year celebrations are over! \n\n\n\nHistory of World Introvert Day\n\n\n\nWorld Introvert Day is about bringing awareness for the inward-focused world of introverts\, making it known that their actions and habits don’t make them anything less than normal. \n\n\n\nMany studies have shown that introverts\, despite their deep need for alone-time\, are an important minority that work behind the scenes of an extroverted world to keep it functioning. \n\n\n\nSo\, each year\, many introverts take this time after the exciting events of the major holidays to recharge by doing their favorite hobbies. And it is also a time to prepare themselves for the year to come. There are many blog sites that focus their audience on the aspects of introversion\, and even celebrate it. \n\n\n\nWorld Introvert Day is a huge highlight in observing the world of introverts–and it’s time to get started with the celebration!

SUMMARY:National Bean Day
DESCRIPTION:Share your favorite bean recipes! \n\n\n\nDiscover a world of hearty goodness\, as these tiny powerhouses pack a punch of protein and flavor\, making every meal satisfying. \n\n\n\nBeans are a common food around the globe and for good reason: they’re rich in fiber\, protein\, and can be delicious. \n\n\n\nYou might think of beans only as an ingredient in chili con carne or baked beans\, but they’re not limited to these applications – in Japan\, for instance\, red beans are commonly used in desserts. \n\n\n\nNational Bean Day is a delightful opportunity to shine a spotlight on the delicious and healthy food that beans are! \n\n\n\nHow to Celebrate National Bean Day\n\n\n\nBeans are one of the most versatile food items. The best day to celebrate National Bean Day would be to involve beans in all of your meals for the day\, particularly in places where you wouldn’t necessarily expect them. \n\n\n\nEnjoy Eating Beans\n\n\n\nStart the day with a traditional full English breakfast\, which includes baked beans and toast among all of the other things\, then have an ordinary lunch followed by red bean ice cream or red bean mochi\, and for dinner prepare some meal which involves beans – chili\, black beans and rice\, white bean soup\, North Indian rajma\, or any other bean specialty. \n\n\n\nLearn About Different Types of Beans\n\n\n\nThere are also various Chinese sweets that also incorporate either red beans or mung beans. \n\n\n\nThat\, of course\, excludes things like soya beans which are used both fresh (as edamame) as well as in various sauces and condiments ranging from soya sauce to miso and various fermented condiments found throughout southeast Asia and northeast India. \n\n\n\nTempeh and tofu are also made from soya bean and that just goes to show how versatile and essential beans are to various cuisines worldwide. \n\n\n\nSo whether you’re indulging in a nice steamy bowl of chili or a Japanese sweet\, there are numerous ways to celebrate this food on National Bean Day! \n\n\n\nSend a Silly National Bean Day Message\n\n\n\nPerhaps a bit surprisingly\, electronic greeting card websites seem to have a lot of references to National Bean Day! \n\n\n\nEven for those folks who don’t enjoy beans and don’t want to have anything to do with them on National Bean Day\, it’s still possible to send greeting cards to your friends to mark the occasion. \n\n\n\nHistory of National Bean Day\n\n\n\nThe day commemorates the death of Gregor Mendel\, a Czech geneticist whose experiments with breeding pea plants formed the basis of modern genetics\, who died on this date in 1884. \n\n\n\nIn addition\, the day honors the father of Paula Bowen\, the founder of National Bean Day. Bowen’s father was a pinto bean farmer\, so she’s pretty familiar with beans and no doubt was raised on them. \n\n\n\nBeans are also healthy and common in many cuisines throughout the world\, so of course they deserve a day dedicated to them!

Gamify it by giving out some fun food-free prizes. \n\n\n\nMindful Eating Practices\n\n\n\nFocus on mindful eating. This means paying attention to what you eat\, savoring each bite. SUMMARY:National Winter Skin Relief Day
DESCRIPTION:When the weather turns colder\, dry skin is a common problem for many people. Due to the lack of humidity in the air as well as exposure to forced air or heating\, skin can get much drier during the winter months. \n\n\n\nNow\, National Winter Skin Relief Day is here as a timely reminder to take care of that epidermis and enjoy the skin you wear every day! \n\n\n\nHistory of National Winter Skin Relief Day\n\n\n\nWinter skin can have a tendency to become dry\, itchy\, red or inflamed. Exposure to the elements\, especially on areas like the face\, hands\, and lips can produce chapping\, chafing\, redness and dry patches. \n\n\n\nFounded by the original makers of CeraVe Skincare (Valeant -now called Bausch)\, National Winter Skin Relief Day offers the perfect opportunity to moisturize and keep that skin soft and supple. \n\n\n\nWhether using this brand of products or another one\, having a gentle and natural lotion\, cream or moisturizer on hand is key! Put it on after the shower or bath\, or slather it on before getting dressed each morning to help keep that winter skin protected and cared for. \n\n\n\nNational Winter Skin Relief Day is just the right time to think about and practice healthy care for skin! \n\n\n\nHow to Celebrate National Winter Skin Relief Day\n\n\n\nGet on board with celebrating National Winter Skin Relief Day by implementing some of these ideas: \n\n\n\nTake Care of That Skin\n\n\n\nThe first order of business when it comes to National Winter Skin Relief Day is to practice good skin hygiene. Consider some of these tips for keeping that skin healthy during the colder months: \n\n\n\nInvest in a Humidifier. For those who live in very dry environments\, consider putting a humidifier to work in the home to keep the air moist. \n\n\n\nMoisturize. Keep the body moisturized each day\, and then have hand lotion by each sink so that it can be used each time after hand washing. \n\n\n\nLower Water Temperatures. Hotter water can tend to dry out the skin more so lower that water temp on the shower or for hand washing. \n\n\n\nStay Hydrated. It’s easy to forget that skin moisture comes from the inside too! Drink plenty of water and avoid caffeinated beverages that can tend to cause dehydration.

SUMMARY:National Classy Day
DESCRIPTION:On National Classy Day\, we celebrate those who are graced with the ability to live their lives with class\, passion\, and who are driven to share it with others. On January 17th\, honor those class acts and commemorate the birth of one of the most legendary comedians ever to walk the Earth. \n\n\n\n#NationalClassyDay \n\n\n\nClassy people draw others to them. They have a grace and knack for bringing light into a room with humor\, beauty\, or inspiration. For example\, American comedian\, Betty White\, was graced with a seemingly unlimited ability to make us laugh. Her humor transcended age\, gender\, and race\, and her vibrant energy was contagious. Knowing her or someone like her is an unforgettable experience that lives far beyond a single moment. \n\n\n\nQualities of Class\n\n\n\nWe are not all graced with the same qualities as Betty White’s immaculate timing or delightful humility. However\, we are all given traits that make us unique. We can exercise those abilities to the benefit of everyone around us. Other iconic women who shared their finer qualities with the world include: \n\n\n\n·        Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis \n\n\n\n·        Barbara Pierce Bush \n\n\n\n·        Sacagawea \n\n\n\n·        Diana Princess of Wales \n\n\n\n·        Julia Child \n\n\n\n·        Eleanor Roosevelt \n\n\n\n·        Rosa Parks \n\n\n\n·        Nelly Bly \n\n\n\n·        Bessie Coleman \n\n\n\n·        Those endearing traits that leave an indelible mark on our memories fall within a narrow spectrum of terms. Words like kindness\, generosity\, humility\, knowledge\, and steadfastness come to mind. Being classy magnifies these qualities and makes the person even more unforgettable. While we can’t always name the specific trait that charms us\, we often understand when we’ve been in its presence. That’s why National Classy Day encourages us to recognize those talents and abilities in others. \n\n\n\n·        HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL CLASSY DAY\n\n\n\n·        On National Classy Day\, reflect on those who’ve graced the world with their best qualities and made it a better place. Who would you recognize on January 17th? There are other ways to celebrate the day\, too! \n\n\n\n\nBring joy\, laughter\, or a smile to someone. Share a funny story\, pun or joke.\n\n\n\nRemind someone of their goodness by complimenting them on a talent\, skill\, or accomplishment.\n\n\n\nEncourage someone to strive for their goals.\n\n\n\nLook for the positive in your day.\n\n\n\nGive someone a little grace. We all have bad days and a little kindness goes a long way.\n\n\n\n\nNo matter what you do\, be classy. Share stories of graceful inspiration with the world by using #NationalClassyDay on social media.

Strive to give a compliment about what makes a person stand out above the rest. Take the time to reflect on what you admire about the person.HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL COMPLIMENT DAYMake sure to compliment someone. Share the compliments you receive that make your day.
